Ian sadly passed away on June 17th 2009 from complications with pneumonia. A funeral was held at Kensal Green Cemetery on June 29th.

The family have asked that donations be made to the British Lung Foundation via this page. A Facebook page in memory of Ian has been set up. His Myspace page is here and some of his music can be heard here.
